This is part of the 'Brooklyn Tin' collection by Merci for NLXL. Parisian concept store 'Merci' used vintage tin tiles as a decor concept for their Paris store. This gained some more attention and love from their customers it lead them to collaborate with Dutch brand NLXL to design a range of wallpapers that perfectly mimics the tin tiles. Traditionally tin tiles were used in ceilings in the early 1900s in North America as a cheaper alternative to the ornate plaster work used in European homes.
